I'm always on the lookout for a good deal. And when it comes to Cell Phones, I am especially skeptical of the hype around the newest phones. They always add extra features or new processing power which isn't needed, and charge you even more. It seems more lately smartphones are the price of a new laptop. So I have put together a list of 4 cell phones in 2017 that wont break the bank. These are all unlocked and will work in the USA with AT&T, Cricket, T-Mobile, Net10 Wireless, StraightTalk, FreedomPop, and other GSM networks. Non of these work with Verizon wireless.
This phone is a steal for under $200 USD. It is unlocked and comes with a Warranty. Has great reviews, a good camera and looks nice. My wife had the Honor X5 and while a little big, it is a good phone for the price none the less.
Motorola has a strong history in the Mobile Phone market. Before the Smartphone era, the Motorola Razr and Rockr were the phones to have. Motorola was broken into multiple companies and the Cell Phone portion (Motorola Mobility) sold off to Google, in efforts to make a better Android experience. A strategy used by Apple with it's iPhone lines. Shortley there after Google realized that this could cause competition issues with other phone manufacturers. Eventually leading to the sale of Motorola Mobility to Lenovo. Bringing us affordable yet good quality phones. The Moto G Plus is a great deal working with all major US Cell Networks (AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, & T-Mobile) this phone is a sure bet.
This phone has received great reviews and ratings from around the web. It is compatible with T-Mobile and other GSM Networks, like AT&T, Cricket, Net10 Wireless and StraightTalk. If you are looking for a new phone that won't break the bank, this is it. Only $113.99, you can actually afford to buy this phone, and use it for a couple years, without making monthly payments. Definitely worth the price.
Here is the best deal we could find. This phone is solidly the best for a budget phone. At $69.99 you can save a ton of money. Buy this phone and then get a Cricket Wireless month to month SIM, and you could be looking at $20 per month for the same level of service and availability as the iPhone fanboys. But putting that additional $700 you saved in the bank or paying down one of your debts. I own a BLU R1 HD, I got it for 60, and it is so liberating knowing how cheap you can actually be, and have a great phone.
